    • VEHICLE WAS MISFIRING UPON EVALUATION, CODES FOR CRANK SHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT WERE PRESENT IN PCM, AS WELL AS AND ENGINE SPEED DTC. THESE DTC'S ARE STILL PRESENT IN THE PCM AND WILL NEED FURTHER DIAGNOSIS. THE IDLING ISSUE IS DIRECTLY CAUSED BY MISFIRE. UPON REMOVING SPARK PLUG, FOUND SPARK PLUG COMPLETELY FOULED WITH OIL FROM THE LEAKING VALVE COVER. REMOVED SPARK PLUG AND REPLACED WITH NEW, ALONG WITH THE COIL ON PLUG. MISFIRE IS NOT PRESENT AT THIS TIME.

    • SCAN PCM FOR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, FOUND CODE P0101-MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR CIRCUIT B1. UPON EVALUATION, FOUND AIR INLET TUBE BETWEEN AIR FILTER AND THROTTLE BODY IS DRY ROTTED AND TORN OPEN, WHICH CAN CAUSE FALSE AIR AND UN METERED AIR. REPLACEMENT OF AIR TUBE SHOULD BE DONE FIRST.
